Shockstrip® 2 Year Warranty

Shockstrip®, Inc. warrants this product against defects in material and/or workmanship under normal use for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”). If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Shockstrip, Inc. will 1) replace the product with a new product equivalent to the original product, or 2) provide store credit in the amount of the purchase price of the damaged strip(s). Replacement product assumes the remaining warranty of the original product. When store credit is given, the original product must be returned to Shockstrip, Inc. and becomes Shockstrip Inc.’s property.

Evidence of the following conditions will operate to void this warranty:

Failure to have helmet reconditioned at least every two (2) years by a NOCSAE Licensed Reconditioner and replacement of all strips after reconditioning.
Where strips have been damaged by a chemical reaction from the use incompatible materials such as:
1. Use of cleaners, waxes or paints other than those recommended by the manufacturer or failure to follow recommended cleaning and painting instructions.
2. Use of glues or adhesives other than those supplied by the manufacturer or failure to follow recommended installation and adhesive application instructions.
Abusive treatments or any use other than the playing of football.
Alterations or attachments of any kind to any surface of a strip.

Manufacturer shall not be liable for consequential damage resulting from the use of its products.

Products covered by this warranty should be returned to the manufacturer, along with evidence of the date of purchase and conditions under which it was damaged.

Up to 5 Year Helmet Warranty

Because application of this product MAY void the original helmet manufacturer warranty, Shockstrip®, Inc. will warrant your helmet under normal use for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase by the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”) provided helmet is properly maintained by a Factory Authorized Reconditioner. Proper maintenance requires reconditioning of your helmet at least every two (2) years by a NOCSAE Licensed Reconditioner using only new factory replacement liners in the reconditioning process. If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, Shockstrip, Inc. will replace the product with a new product equivalent to the original product. Replacement product assumes the remaining warranty of the original. When a product is exchanged, any replacement product becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Shockstrip, Inc.’s property.

Evidence of any of the following conditions will operate to void this warranty:

Failure to have the helmet reconditioned at least every two (2) years by a NOCSAE Licensed Reconditioner.
Installation of used parts instead of new parts when a liner replacement is necessary.
Where shells have been damaged by a chemical reaction from the use incompatible materials such as:
1. Attachment of a guard, face mask or component of another manufacturer or mismatched material.
2. Use of cleaners, waxes or paints of another manufacturer or failure to follow recommended cleaning and painting instructions.
Excessive drilling of holes or drilling of any new holes less than 1/2” from each other or the edge of the shell.
Abusive treatments or any use other than the playing of football.
Removal of, or obliteration of, the Warranty label, date code or warning labels.Football helmet component parts are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year provided there has been normal use and proper maintenance.

Manufacturer shall not be liable for consequential damage resulting from the use of its products.
